About John Hansen
OneStop Shop Inspections is a Puslinch, Ontario home inspection company founded in 2011 by John Hansen. The shop inspects homes, septic systems, wells, pools, mould / air quality, and WETT-certified wood-burning appliances across Southern Ontario.
John Hansen is an experienced Area Director, Inspector, and Owner with a proven track record in the home and commercial inspection industry. With extensive certifications, specialized training, and active membership in professional organizations, John is dedicated to delivering professional and thorough inspection services to his clients.
John’s commitment to professional development is exemplified by his active involvement with the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors (OAHI). After taking all the courses the OAHI requires to become an RHI – Registered Home Inspector, he volunteered on many committees and eventually became Vice President and then President of the organization for 2 years.
Joining the OAHI has allowed John to stay up-to-date with industry standards, enhance his knowledge base, and collaborate with other experts in the field. This affiliation underscores his dedication to maintaining the highest level of professionalism and quality in his work.

- Carson Dunlop Home Inspection Course: comprehensive training in residential home inspections.
- Commercial Inspection: inspecting commercial properties for safety and compliance.
- Level 1 Certified Thermographer: thermal imaging for hidden issues such as moisture intrusion and energy inefficiencies.
- Certified Air Leakage Tester: assessing building envelope performance for air leakage and energy efficiency.
- Certified Mould Inspector.
- BCIN for septic inspection, design, and installation: licensed to inspect, design, and install septic systems in compliance with Ontario’s Building Code.
- WETT Certified Inspector: wood-burning appliances and systems.
- Phase I Environmental Site Assessment.
- Well / water assessment.
- Drone Pilot Certification: aerial inspections of roofs, large properties, and hard-to-reach areas.
